About Western Australian Centre for Rural Health

The Western Australian Centre for Rural Health (WACRH), part of the School of Population and Global Health at the University of Western Australia, is a Commonwealth-funded University Department of Rural Health located in Western Australia’s Mid West and Pilbara regions. WACRH aims to improve rural, remote and Aboriginal health through education, research and community service activities; to facilitate quality allied health, nursing and pharmacy clinical placements for students from all Australian universities; and to enhance recruitment and retention of health professionals in rural and remote Australia.
