Professional Bio

Jacqui is a career researcher with over 20 years’ experience in health and social research, evaluation and training in a variety of settings including alcohol and other drugs, mental health and domestic violence. In 2004, she completed a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Social Science Research at the University of Glasgow after a successful career as a social worker. Highlights of her research career include being awarded the inaugural Allens Arthur Robinson Research to Practice Fellowship and the publication of over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles. Jacqui is a PhD candidate with the Department of Social Work at the University of Melbourne undertaking a PhD on the knowledge translation of domestic violence research. She is a program scholar with the Safer Families Centre of Research Excellence and a lecturer in social work at the University of Wollongong.
